PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is gearing up and hiring a cabinet Shop Foreman to get ready for multiple upcoming projects. As an experienced Carpenter with PRST, you’ll support commercial and residential projects throughout the Salt Lake Area. Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of cabinet shop employees, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Oversee the production schedule, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Monitor the quality of work, ensuring that all cabinets meet company standards and customer specifications.
Train and mentor new employees in cabinet assembly, finishing, and safety procedures.
Manage inventory levels of materials and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain production flow.
Ensure that all machinery and tools are properly maintained and in safe working condition.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cabinet manufacturing or woodworking, with at least 1 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in woodworking techniques, tools, and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and operate machinery.
- Comfortable working in a shop environment with exposure to noise and dust.
The hourly rate for this position is $20.00-$25.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
