Job Description
As Skilled Laborer with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support the General Contractor on a new construction project in Dalton, GA. Responsibilities
Support new commercial construction projects with day-to-day tasks.
Safely operate hand tools and power tools.
Assist in unloading, moving, and staging building materials.
Maintain a clean and safe worksite.
Follow instructions from supervisors and support the crew as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to operate hand and power tools and read a tape measure.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prior experience in the commercial construction field required.
- Position may require a drug screen
The hourly rate for this position is $20.00-$22.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
