Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking skilled and experienced Excavator Operators for an exciting opportunity to work on commercial construction projects. The position involves operating heavy equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth, rock, and other materials. Pay is based on experience and ranges from $28/HOUR TO $32/HOUR. Apply now!
Responsibilities
Perform excavation and grading tasks as required for site preparation and utilities installation.
Load and unload materials such as dirt, gravel, and debris.
Perform routine maintenance checks on the excavator to ensure it is in good working condition.
Read and interpret plans and instructions from supervisors.
Follow safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe work environment.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience operating excavators in a construction environment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
- Knowledge of excavation and grading techniques.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor environments.
- Must have proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Certifications or licenses to operate heavy machinery may be required.
