Job Description
• Perform grounds maintenance including lawn care, hedge trimming, weeding, and seasonal snow and ice removal
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas and shared spaces
• Conduct basic maintenance and repair work involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall
• Complete service requests and preventative maintenance tasks in a timely manner
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and property management to support overall property operations
• Assist with apartment turnovers, make-ready preparations, and emergency maintenance response
• Maintain and organize inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
Responsibilities
• General maintenance and janitorial experience
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift/move furniture, equipment, and supplies safely
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for on-call scheduling
• Timely completion of work orders
• Professional and courteous tenant interactions
• Strong attention to safety and property appearance
• Commitment to preventative maintenance standards
The hourly rate for this position is $26/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
