Responsibilities
- Reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand requirements
- Measuring, cutting and shaping wood, plywood and other materials according to measurements
- Constructing wooden structures such as frames, floors, and walls
- Building staircases, doors, windows, and furniture from wood and other materials
- Installing completed products, such as doors, window frames, and staircases
- Repairing and restoring damaged furniture and structures
- Inspecting structures and fixtures for any necessary repairs or replacements
The hourly rate for this position is $30.00-$35.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
