Job Description
Responsibilities
Safety Compliance: Ensuring all systems comply with NFPA 99 standards, as well as local, state, and federal codes.
Testing and Inspection: Conducting pressure tests, leak tests, and inspections of piping systems to ensure they are safe and functional.
Brazing/Soldering: Utilizing specialized high-temperature brazing techniques to join copper pipe, ensuring airtight, clean, and secure joints.
Blueprint Interpretation: Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and project plans to locate pipe positions.
Maintenance and Repair: Performing preventative maintenance and repairing existing medical gas systems to prevent system failures.
CST Mechanical
CST Mechanical
Certification: Must hold a Medical Gas Installer license (typically ASSE 6010).
Previous experience in commercial plumbing, often a minimum of 2–5 years.
Strong knowledge of medical gas systems, brazing techniques, and safety procedures.
Often requires a valid Journeyman Plumber's license

The hourly rate for this position is $48.00-53.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
