Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is now hiring for experienced purchasing agent in Bremerton, WA. Qualified candidates must have marine experience and previously held a position in a customer service. This position is directly responsible for the scheduling, creating, and billing of work orders. This position is also responsible for coordinating responses to questions from clients about purchased products as needed. Competitive pay from $22-$28 an hour DOE.

Responsibilities
Review sales sheets and build detailed materials parts lists.
Research Parts and Installation Requirements
Build and maintain standard product bills of materials.
Purchase parts as needed.
Assist Senior Purchasing Manager
Complete Purchase Order Requests and ensure proper approvals are obtained.
Work with vendors to define necessary components and system architecture
Qualifications & Experience
- Marine Experience
- Purchasing Experience
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Skilled in the follow-through of multiple assigned tasks and projects
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills (verbal, written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- Multiple years of experience with ERP software. We use SAGE 100.
The hourly rate for this position is $22.00-$28.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
