Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is now hiring for experienced marine shipfitters for Nassco at PSNS in Bremerton WA. Shipyard experience preferred. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Pay rate $32 an hour DOE.

Responsibilities
Must be able to safely operate a torch in all positions.
Must be able to bevel plate edges and TAOs using the correct joint design.
Must be able to complete work with little to no guidance from a supervisor.
Must have minimum 5 years of experience working on ships
Basic knowledge of standard items is required.
Basic knowledge of shop equipment is required.
Must have knowledge of WAFs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of verifiable work experience as a shipfitter.
- Must have tools of the trade
- Shipyard experience required.
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check to work on site.
- Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to provide proof of citizenship to work on site.
The hourly rate for this position is $32.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
