Apprentice Carpenter assists experienced carpenters with construction, installation, and repair projects while learning the carpentry trade. This role involves working on residential, commercial, and industrial job sites, using hand and power tools, and following safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist carpenters with framing, drywall, finish work, and general construction tasks.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other building materials.
- Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform demolition, site cleanup, and material handling.
- Install doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and other carpentry components.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and construction drawings.
- Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times.
Responsibilities
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Minimum 2-4 year of experience on commercial sites
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
The hourly rate for this position is $23 - $25/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
