Construction Laborer performs a variety of physical tasks to support construction projects. This role assists skilled tradespeople, maintains job site safety and cleanliness, handles materials, and helps ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general construction site cleanup and debris removal.
- Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and other trades as needed.
- Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and prepare work areas.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
- Set up and take down barricades, temporary structures, and job site equipment.
- Perform demolition and material removal tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow directions from supervisors and project managers.
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards.
Responsibilities
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Minimum 1 year of experience on commercial, residential or industrial construction sites
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
The hourly rate for this position is $23/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
