As a mid-level electrician with PRST, you'll support a contractor in San Pedro, Ca. In this temp role, you'll earn $25-$30 an hour DOE, enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule.

Mid-Level Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings. This position requires the ability to work independently on assigned tasks, read blueprints, and assist with mentoring apprentices while ensuring all work is completed safely and according to code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install electrical systems, wiring, conduit, panels, and equipment according to plans and specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
  • Bend, install, and secure EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit.
  • Pull and terminate wire for lighting, power, controls, and low-voltage systems.
  • Install panels, transformers, disconnects, switches, receptacles, and lighting fixtures.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues using testing equipment.
  • Perform electrical upgrades, maintenance, and renovations.
  • Assist in training and mentoring apprentice electricians.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards.
  • Coordinate work with supervisors and other trades on site.

Responsibilities

• E-Verify - Eligible to work in the USA
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Minimum 3-5 year of experience on commercial, residential or industrial construction sites
• Self sufficient and have basic hand tools / power tools
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
• Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)

The hourly rate for this position is $25 - $30/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
