Job Description
- Support heavy equipment operators in the safe and efficient operation of machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, rollers, and other equipment.
- Assist in site preparation, including clearing debris, leveling ground, and staging materials as well as setting silt fencing or simmilart tasks.
- Perform spotting duties to ensure safe and accurate operation of heavy machinery.
- Help with equipment setup, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor job site conditions and communicate potential hazards to team members.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed.
- Work collaboratively with operators and crew members to meet project goals.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations while working on active construction sites.

Responsibilities
- Previous experience in construction, general labor, or assisting heavy equipment operators is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment.
- Familiarity with construction sites and basic safety practices.
- Willingness to learn and assist in operating heavy equipment.
- Ability to perform outdoor tasks in varying weather and terrain conditions.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Possession of OSHA-10 certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to pass background checks, drug tests, and entry courses as needed for each site worked.
The hourly rate for this position is $16.00 - $20.03/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
