Job Description
As a Painter with PRST, you’ll support painter contractors throughout Orange County. Responsibilities
- Apprentice, Journey Level Painters and Painter Helpers.
- Removing old paint, filling holes, washing walls
- Using sandpaper, wire brushes, and abrasive blasting to prepare surfaces
- Sealing cracks and corners where building materials meet
- Applying various finishes to equipment, buildings, bridges, or other structures
- Applying primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces, such as bare wood or metal, for finish coats
- Mixing colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency
Qualifications & Experience
- • Be at least 18 years of age
- • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
- • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- • Prior experience in carpentry with minimum 3 years of experience
- • Self-sufficient and fully tooled in the trade
- • E-Verify - Eligible to work in the USA
- • Verifiable work history that confirms your experience in the trade
The hourly rate for this position is $23.00-$32.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
