Job Description
Responsibilities
- Perform wood framing on a commercial construction project
- Frame walls, partitions, openings, and other structural/non-structural components
- Measure, cut, and install lumber and other framing materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and layout drawings
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Perform layout and ensure framing is plumb, level, and square
- Assist with installation of sheathing and other related carpentry materials
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all project safety requirements and jobsite procedures
- Perform other carpentry and framing duties as assigned
Responsibilities
- Previous commercial wood framing experience required
- Ability to read and understand construction plans and measurements
- Proficient with common hand and power tools
- Ability to work safely on an active commercial construction site
- Must be dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance
- Own tools and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 or other safety training is a plus
The hourly rate for this position is $25-$30/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
