Standard Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Current Project Schedule: Due to workload, the team is currently working 7 days a week with 12-hour shifts. Candidates should be open to working overtime while the current project demand is in place
Pay: $30-$35/hr (based on experience)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform precision TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW), and Stick (SMAW) welding on a variety of industrial components and assemblies
- Repair, restore, fabricate, and rebuild turbine and heavy industrial equipment components
- Weld a wide range of materials including:
- 300 and 400 series stainless steel
- Inconel alloys
- Hastelloy-X
- Aluminum
- Silicon bronze
- Carbon steel and low-alloy steels
- Perform welding on thin materials while maintaining dimensional accuracy and metallurgical integrity
- Grind, blend, contour, and finish welds to meet engineering, customer, and quality requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld procedures, repair instructions, and engineering drawings
- Perform fit-up and welding operations while maintaining tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Utilize proper preheat, interpass temperature control, and post-weld processes when required
- Collaborate with machinists, inspectors, and shop personnel to complete complex repair projects
- Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely while following company safety procedures and quality standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in an industrial shop environment for extended periods
Responsibilities
- Minimum of 2 years of experience performing precision welding in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with TIG (GTAW) welding is required
- Experience with MIG (GMAW) and Stick (SMAW) welding processes
- Experience welding stainless steel, nickel alloys, and other specialty materials
- Ability to read blueprints, weld procedures, and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain tight tolerances on critical components
- Ability to pass a welding test prior to placement
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience repairing gas turbines, steam turbines, or power generation equipment
- Experience working with turbine diaphragms, nozzle segments, combustion components, rotors, casings, or similar equipment
- Familiarity with non-destructive testing methods such as liquid penetrant (PT) and magnetic particle testing (MT)
- AWS welding certifications preferred but not required
- Experience working alongside machinists on precision repair projects
The hourly rate for this position is $$30-$35/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
