Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Concrete Laborer to join our team. This role involves supporting concrete crews on active job sites, assisting with site preparation, material handling, and general labor duties. Ideal candidates are motivated, safety-conscious, and ready to learn and grow in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain construction tools, equipment, and machinery safely
- Assist equipment operators, carpenters, and skilled trades as needed
- Prepare job sites by removing debris, hazards, and obstacles
- Load and unload construction materials and tools
- Dig, fill, and compact soil for site preparation
- Follow directions from supervisors and project leads
- Support concrete work including mixing, pouring, and finishing (as needed)
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Perform general site clean-up and labor duties
- Participate in on-the-job training and learn new skills
Qualifications:
- Previous concrete experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Responsibilities
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Minimum 3 years of experience on commercial, residential or industrial construction sites
• Self-sufficient and able to operate hand and power tools
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
The hourly rate for this position is $25.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
