Job Description
- Supervise and manage a crew of laborers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Keep laborers on track with daily responsibilities, including:
- Site cleaning and maintenance.
- Unloading and moving materials.
- Organizing and handling tools and equipment.
- Coordinate with project managers and skilled tradespeople to maintain workflow.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company procedures.
- General cleaning and housekeeping
- Field office/trailer fit out
- Temporary protection
- Temporary containment
- Trash out service
- Select demolition
- Safety railing and toe boards
- Job-built stairs and ladders
- Trash chutes
- Signage installation
- Traffic control and site logistics
- Water mitigation
- Winter tarping and temp enclosures
- Snow and ice management
- Temporary heat management and fueling
- Emergency response
- Punchlist
Responsibilities
- Extensive experience in commercial construction is required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage crews effectively.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain productivity on the job site.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to guidelines.
- Must have reliable transportation and valid drivers license
The hourly rate for this position is $25-32/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
