Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician Helper for a new construction project involving a multi-building expansion. This project includes a 100-unit, 4-story, 66,579 sq. ft. workforce housing apartment building.
This is a great opportunity to work on a meaningful project while contributing your expertise to a fast-paced commercial build.
- Assist electricians with installation of fire alarm systems
- Help run and secure electrical conduit
- Pull wire and assist with terminations
- Load, unload, and organize materials and tools
- Follow directions from lead electricians and supervisors
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Adhere to all job site safety standards
Responsibilities
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of electrical experience
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Must have own basic hand tools
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, climbing, standing for long periods)
- Previous experience on commercial construction sites
- Exposure to fire alarm or low voltage systems
The hourly rate for this position is $24-$24/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
