Job Description
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failures in a timely manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance that includes conducting inspections, oil machinery, changing filters, and aligning parts to prevent break downs.
- Follow lockout/tagout, OSHA rules, and shop safety standards at all times.
- Assist teams with machine installations, retrofits, and other facility improvement projects throughout the building.
- Document and log completed repairs and parts used.
Responsibilities
- Recent previous experience as a maintenance technician for industrial or commercial properties, ideally within the metal, welding, fabrication, or any similar industry.
- Experience with electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and use power tools and diagnostic meters.
- Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and otherwise maneuver throughout shifts that can be up to 12 hours.
- Ability to lift on average 50lbs throughout shifts.
- Work 5-6 days/nights per week - 12 hours shifts.
- Possess tools of the trade.
The hourly rate for this position is $$22 - $24/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
