Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is now hiring for experienced marine electricians for Nassco at PSNS in Bremerton WA. Shipyard experience preferred. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Pay rate $32 an hour DOE.

Responsibilities
• Must be familiar with the EPISM and follow the requirements.
• Must understand and practice the ISO9001-2008 standards.
• Must be familiar with and follow the procedures of Work Packages.
• Be able to accomplish both a Standard Item 009-16, 009-23, 009-36 and 009-73 without supervision.
• Must be able to accomplish an electrical test with the proper technical documentation.
• Must be able to read and interpret government drawings.
• Must be able to be assigned to a job with all documentations and perform all the requirements including providing the Supervisor with all the information to write reports.
• Must be able to keep people productive in the absence of the supervisor.
• Must be able to identify unnecessary cost and keep them to a minimum.
• Must have knowledge of WAFs.
• Must be able to distinguish color code phasing (orange, brown, yellow, black, white and red).
Qualifications & Experience
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of verifiable work experience as an electrician.
- Must have tools of the trade
- Shipyard experience preferred
- Must be able to pass drug screen and background check to work on site.
- Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to provide proof of citizenship to work on site.
The hourly rate for this position is $32.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
