PeopleReady Skilled Trades – is seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Technician to join our team in San Mateo, Redwood City, Palo Alto and surrounding areas!
As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to quality Landscape Maintenance and light Landscape Construction. This is a hands-on position that requires physical labor and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Responsibilities
- Skilled landscaper to help with high-end residential maintenance work
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, edging, weeding, and pruning.
- Plant and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces.
- Seasonal pruning of Roses and Fruit Trees.
- Apply Organic fertilizers as needed, following environmentally friendly practices.
- Monitor and address irrigation needs to ensure proper hydration of plants. Install and repair.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their landscape preferences and address specific requests.
- Identify and address plant diseases, pests, and other landscape issues.
- Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.
- Uphold safety standards and environmental best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- • Previous education in Horticulture or equivalent experience in Quality Landscape Maintenance (preferred)
- • E-Verify - Eligible to work in the USA
- • Knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools commonly used in landscaping
- • Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques and practices
- • Ability to properly operate equipment such as: lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- • Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- • Must be reliable and have transportation
- • Minimum of 3 year of experience on residential sites (High End preferably)
- • Background Clearance and MVR (required to be considered)
