Carpenter

Overview

Responsibilities

• Helping with rough to finish carpentry projects in residential and commercial jobsites

• Prep construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards

• Load/unload construction materials

• Performing demolition; site clean-up

• Assemble/take apart temporary structures such as scaffolding

• Remove, fill, or compact earth

• Follow instructions from supervisors; assist workers; learn from on-the-job training

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualifications
• • 18 years of age
• • Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
• • Ability to work in all types of weather
• • Must be punctual and reliable.
• • 9 months minimum construction industry experience
• • Access to reliable transportation
• • Must have basic tools of the trade.
• The hourly rate for this position is $23-$30/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
