Job Description
Hiring Now! PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Sheet Metal Installers to join our team for a year-long project. The job involves hanging and installing commercial ductwork in buildings (1-3) and assisting with various tasks related to ductwork on the floor. Pay is based on experience and ranges from $24/HOUR TO $28/HOUR. Apply now!
Responsibilities
- Hang and install commercial ductwork.
- Assist with all tasks related to ductwork on the job site.
- Help with the fabrication, assembly, alteration, and repair of sheet metal products and equipment.
- Gather materials required for completing work.
- (Optional) Assist with the setup and operation of various equipment, including plasma cutting tables, power shears, notches, brakes, rollers, lock-formers, cleat benders, punches, pinspotters, insulation cutters, and more.
- Follow safety requirements as directed by supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in residential or commercial HVAC work preferred
- Reliable transportation to and from jobsites
- Basic math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
