Overview

Responsibilities

• Hours: Monday - Friday 6:30 am 40 hour weeks
• Ground up construction of multiphase apartment building, Currently in roughing stage pulling wires.

Qualifications & Experience

• • Be at least 18+ years of age
• • Current/Active Connecticut Journeyman Licensed Electrician
• • OSHA within the last 5 Years Certification or a willingness to obtain it
• • Perform tests and use the results to diagnose problems – for example, when an outlet is not working, using a multi-meter to check the voltage, amperage, or resistance to resolve the appropriate course of action
• • References that will verify your professional skills and experience
• • Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools
• • Performing semiskilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment
• • Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code
• • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
• • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• • Prior experience in the commercial field preferred
• • Prior experience using standard hand tools for E2 included but not limited to Cutters, Volt Meter, Cordless Screw Driver required
• • Position may require a drug screen
• The hourly rate for this position is $$43/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
