Overview

Responsibilities

• Work with schedule 40 black steel pipe
• Measure, cut, bevel, and fit pipe according to specifications
• Assist the welder with various tasks
• Tack piping in place as required

Preferred Tools:

• Soap Stone
• Wire Brush
• Metal Files
• (Preferred but not required) Pipe Fitters Square
• (Preferred but not required) Pipe Fitter Grips
• 
  

Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years experience in pipe fitting
• OSHA 10 certification is required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Ability to work in a team environment
• PAY & PERKS:
• The hourly rate for this position is $26-$31/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on relevant skills, experience, education, training, location, and other considerations permitted by law. Pay history is not considered where prohibited by local law.
