Job Description
As a Journeyman Electrician with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support a Commercial Electrical Contractor in Bedias, Tx. This project is doing low voltage cable pulls and terminating in a battery field where the DC cable and infrastructure are already completed. In this project based, short-term role, you’ll earn $31-$35 an hour, enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule. Any travelers that live outside of the radius, will qualify for $100/day of per diem.

Responsibilities
• Hours: Monday - Fridays = 10hr days & Saturday = 8hr day (OT OFFERED)
• Direct apprentice electricians on next steps and procedures for each task is VERY IMPORTANT for each Journeyman.
• Run underground wiring at a battery field
• Pull and terminate low voltage cable, 480 roll cable, fire alarm cable, communication cable, and fiber cable through conduit.
(DC cable pulls and underground infrastructure are completed already, job is pull and terminate)
• Review blueprints and layouts
• Measure and cut materials for installation
• Follow all instructions both oral and written
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools
• Follow all local, state, and federal health and safety standards
Qualifications & Experience
- • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience
- • Have a clear and valid TDLR Journeyman Electrician License
- • OSHA-10 Certification is a HUGE plus!
- • Ability to use all hand and power tools
- • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
- • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- • Capable of working well with minimal supervision
- • Willingness to learn and be part of a team
- • Position DOES require a drug screen
- The hourly rate for this position is $31-$35/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
