Responsibilities

Responsibilities *include but are not limited to:

• Measure, cut, and hang drywall to required specifications;
• Assist in framing up walls and installing sheathing;
• Install crown moldings;
• Assemble and fasten materials using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue;
• Cut and nail headers and blocking;
• Fit and install of window frames, doors, interior and exterior trim, wooden door frames;
• Perform all duties in compliance with site safety and building requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3-5 years previous experience in the commercial construction industry and knowledge of the materials, methods, and tools involved in the commercial construction field.
• Ability to accept direction and work as a team player
• Demonstrate dependability to work a regular schedule including nontraditional hours including weekends.
• OSHA 10/OSHA 30 or willingness to undergo OSHA Safety Training.
• Required Tools:
• Hammer, screw drives, tape measure, adjustable wrenches, utility knife, impact driver, plumb bob, cordless drill, caulk gun, nail sets, T square, framing square, level
• The hourly rate for this position is $24-$28/hour. This rate is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
