Job Description

PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for a Handyman to help with facility maintenance in Raleigh. This will be a long term position with the chance at being hired on in the future. Must have basic hand tools for facility maintenance and be comfortable with drywall repairs, hanging ceiling tiles, replacing ballasts, shelves and light plumbing work. (replace toilet chains, flappers etc.)

Responsibilities

REQUIREMENTS:

-MUST have full PPE (Hard hat, Safety Glasses, Gloves, High Visibility Vest, and Steel Toed Boots)

-MUST come dressed in appropriate clothing (NO SHORTS OR TENNIS SHOES)


Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualifications:
  • - Basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division on the fly
  • - Have all of the tools of your trade on hand and be able to bring them to your jobsite
  • - References that will verify your professional skills and experience
  • - Reliable transportation to and from job site
  • - Must have steel toed work boots and all PPE's
  • - OSHA-10 Construction Certification Preferred
  • - Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
