Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking experienced CNC Machinists for a Temp to Permanent FULL-TIME Opportunity! The ideal candidate will have the knowledge of reading machine parts off of drawings, provide high quality parts in a efficient manner, experience in setting up and using manual lathes, mills and drill presses. The individual must be able to working in shop setting. Must be reliable and have own transportation. Apply and Start IMMEDIATELY
Responsibilities
- Programming using G code without the use of programming software.
- Read and interpret shop drawings/blueprints.
- Able to use precision measuring equipment; calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges.
- Produce high quality and accurate parts.
- Program and run CNC Lathes and Mills working off shop drawings.
Qualifications & Experience
- -Ability to read and interpret shop machining drawings.
- -Ability to hold tolerances to within .0005 as required.
- -OSHA Certification or safety knowledge in Heavy Industrial Environments.
- -Physical dexterity to stand and stoop for long periods of time.
- -Ability to work in high temperatures.
- -Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
