Job Description
As a Site Superintendent with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support Plumber Contractors throughout Metro Atlanta. Responsibilities
- Supervise construction crews to ensure that work is carried out efficiently and according to plans.
- Coordinate with project managers. to ensure that project requirements are met.
- Interpret construction plans and specifications and communicate them effectively to the construction team.
- Schedule work activities and allocate resources appropriately to ensure that project deadlines are met.
- Monitor job progress and identify any issues or delays that may arise, taking proactive measures to address them.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment on the job site.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that work meets quality standards and specifications.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial construction site superintendent.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to make decisions quickly under pressure.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and the ability to enforce them on the job site.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to job sites as required.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain it.
- MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE HEAVY EQUIPMENT (BULLDOZIER, SKID STEER ETC.)
