Job Description
Full-time direct hire Traffic Signal Technician position with a local company that covers the Winston Salem, NC area. Benefits (medical, dental, PTO, HSA, etc.) offered. Looking for candidates that have knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and IMSA regulations and the safe operation of electrical equipment.
Responsibilities
Operates equipment such as excavators, backhoes, trenchers, bucket trucks, digger derrick trucks, etc.
Responsible for safe operation of electrical equipment including energizing and de-energizing circuits.
Understands NEC and NFPA and IMSA regulations and is familiar with interpretation of codes from same.
Assists in management of crew as directed by supervisor.
Can train helpers in safe installations of electrical circuitry.
Works with foreman to complete daily assigned tasks.
Must have valid drivers license or CDL Class A.
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior electrical technician experience
- Ability to work a Monday through Friday (7am-5pm) schedule with nights and weekends as needed
- Prior experience energizing and de-energizing circuits
- Prior experience operating site equipment
- Possess a valid driver's license or CDL Class A
