Job Description
As a Concrete Worker with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support our customer on a commercial project located in Jacksonville, FL. In this role, you’ll earn up to $27 an hour (based on experience), enjoy weekly pay, and health insurance benefits. Responsibilities
- Able to read and understand blueprints
- Form ground and vertical forms for sidewalks, drive areas, and concrete columns
- Measure, cut, and assemble boards, timbers, or plywood based on precise measurements
- Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters, patch voids
- Use saws to cut expansion joints
Qualifications & Experience
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to measure, cut, and set forms
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prior experience in the carpentry field required
- Prior experience using power tools such has jack hammers, grinders, and concrete saws
- Have tools and bring them to the job site with you each day
- The hourly rate for this position is $22-$27/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
