Residential Superintendent

Overview

Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site labor

• Execute plans and schedules

• Responsible for quality control and daily inspections

• Must maintain and share daily logs, photos, and updates with the team

• Communicate daily with subcontractors, project manager and contract admin

• Identify and minimize bottlenecks before they occur

• Must understand and follow the terms of our construction contracts and subcontracts

• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean job site

• Manage and receive material deliveries

• Work with office administration as needed to support documentation

• Find creative solutions to problems

• Must be aware of and meet deadlines

Qualifications & Experience

• • 5+ years in construction supervision in high-end residential field
• • Ability to read, interpret and manage changes to architectural/finish plans and
• specifications
• • Advanced knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control and quality control
• • Must be able to manage subcontractors and understand and implement best
• sequencing
• • Excellent organization, time management and detail-oriented skills- ability to use
• good judgment for decisions
• • Ability to work in fast paced environment with tight deadlines
• • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability maintain a calm and
• respectful demeanor
• • High proficiency in Microsoft Project, Sage, Plan Grid and other scheduling software.
• The hourly rate for this position is $65-80/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
