Job Description
We are currently looking for an Assistant Construction Field Supervisor in Sarasota, FL. We are looking for a carpenter that has some previous lead or project management experience. This position is considered a working supervisor, so you will be working alongside of the crew you are overseeing.
Projects are commercial interior buildouts and renovations that range in the $250,000 to $2M area.
Responsibilities
- Material and equipment management
- Training, orientating, overseeing and managing workers on site
- Manages sub-contractors on site
- Completes and manages daily required tasks to keep project on timeline
- Carpentry tasks from rough to finish
Qualifications & Experience
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must have valid driver's license & ability to pass background and drug screen
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Must have at least 3-5 years of carpentry experience
- At least 1 year of Lead experience
- Electrical skills and knowledge are a plus
- English is required / bi-lingual is a bonus
- Must have full carpentry tool set including cordless power tools & drills
