Welder Fabricator – Custom Signs

Overview

Responsibilities

• Fabricates metal using CLN Notcher and CLN Bender.
• Forms material into appropriate shape.
• Punches material using Letter Lock.
• Attaches letter face.
• Trims out letter using CLN Quick Trim Notcher
• Completes all necessary reports and paperwork.
• Assists in the handling, packing, loading, securing, and unloading of finished goods to ensure proper procedures are observed.
• Demonstrates flexibility in work hours to include availability for overtime hours as required by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• * Must have recent experience welding aluminum sheet metal
• • Aluminum spool gun welding Required
• • 4+ years of fabrication and MIG Welding experience
• • Basic mechanical/construction knowledge concerning metals, wood, plastic, blueprints, and fasteners
• • Working knowledge of CLN machines, punch presses, press shears and various power tools as they apply to fabrication a plus
• • Ability to read and use a tape measure
• • Adequate math skills
• • High attention to detail
• • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
• • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• • Prior experience in the sign industry preferred
• • Position does require a drug screen
• • Position does require a background check
• The hourly rate for this position is $22-$27/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
