Overview

Responsibilities

Carpenters will be responsible for new construction or restoration on docks, boathouses, seawalls, retaining walls, boat-lifts, decks, set pilings, boardwalks and dune walkovers for commercial, residential marine and shoreline projects. Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. The ideal candidate possesses their own tools, has transportation, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2+ years of verifiable experience
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required
• Able to shape or cut material to specified measurement, using hand tools, machines, or power saws
• Able to lift items weighting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Own tools and ability to bring them to work each day
